Between the 6th-9th December the 2024 Sail Sydney Event was taking place at Woollahra Sailing Club. The event is one of Australia's premier sailing events and is only open to olympic classes and those other classes that have been invited. It is also a World Sailing graded event which means it has been approved by World Sailing and is included in the World Sailing Calendar. 

In the ILCA 6 Dinghy class we had one of our sponosored sailors Healy taking part, he was up against 23 other high level sailors. With 8 races completed across the 4 days, Healy managed to secure 3 1st places and all of his other races were in the top 8. He finished the event with 18 points and 1st Overall, with his closest competitior finishing on 26 points.
